Citrix Xen App 6.5 Exit Outlook and WinLogon 100% CPU Utilization.

We just built two new XenApp 6.5 servers. If a user hits "Logoff" on the Web Interface" and has Outlook (2010) open the WinLogon.exe goes to 100% CPU utilization on the server and the session gets stuck in an active state however the user is unable to reconnect to the session. I have all the recommended Service Packs and Hot Fixes installed.

Willit happen when u use remote desktop to that server in order to prove it is not Microsfot issue ?


Also u should try on local IE of the citrix server to prove is it related the bottlebeck is application , cpu or memory or appls conflict ( e.g. Antivirus always case this )

barrykfl  - Works fine with RDP. I can disconnect the session and reconnect just fine. No anti-virus on the server at this time. Thanks.

We resolved this issue by reconfiguring the Web Interface settings. Specifically unselected the setting to "Log off active sessions when users log off from the site" in the Workspace Control.
