Active Sync failing for 1 user but fine for the other 100

Background first

User got married and her last name changed
exchange server replaced
mailboxes moved but all other users on her Android 4.1.1 device will work with active sync, but her own account will do nothing.

ANY IDEAS?

Its not her phone because any other user will work

Also active sync on a brand new HTC android phone also worked both internally and from the wan just fine but not with HER profile.

Have you checked her user account in exchange? Is the activesync feature enabled for her account.

I have had the same problem with users when I think they are gone forever and I delete the email account but not the user account.  I then add another email account.  It works just fine unless someone has a cached version of their email address in their auto-complete history.

I am not sure if you are saying this is a brand new phone (she never used it before her name changed) or just a newer phone in general (the phone should not have problems with exchange)

So the first thing I would check is to clear the phones cache.
Just go to settings, applications, manage applications. Press menu and click "sort by size"

Or you can just try to setup her account on another phone.

Thanks for responding, Yes, the active sync is enabled on her account.

It is a user account that was working on the same phone before the mailbox move to the replacement server.

No, it will not work on any phone using her account at all.

I did, however, try 4 other users on her very same phone and it works perfectly.

Please check her inherited permissions that may not be enabled any more:

Also check she isn't a member of any of the restricted groups mentioned in my article.
