Pop up spam

I am getting a pop up window regularly.  It has suddenly appear and says that my pc is not backed up and it should be, click here etc.
I have looked in the list of programs but cannot find any reference to it so I cant delete it.
I recall there is some methodology for getting rid of this sort of thing but I cannot remember it.
I am running good anti virus s/w and the anti malaware has found nothing
Help please.

Try and run MSCONFIG and look at the startup programs / services to look for anything suspicious. You can disable it there and then look for that application.

I cant take a screen shot because it comes and goes when least expected.

It appears that MyPC Backup maybe adware. Try removing it.
