Cannot RDP from Windows 7 Pro Lenovo Thinkpad Laptop to Windows 7 Pro Dell Desktop in domain.

I cannot RDP from a domain Windows 7 Pro Lenovo Thinkpad Laptop to a domain Windows 7 Pro Dell Desktop which has RDP enabled on it.

But I can RDP from another domain PC to it.

Here is the error:
An authentication error has occurred. The requested security package does not exist. Remote computer

On the remote computers RDP settings there is an option to allow all connections from computers running any version of RDP (Less secure).

set to that and try again.

Start>Right-Click Computer, Properties. Select Remote Desktop Settings on left side then you can see the options that Nedramsay is speaking of.

If they are greyed out then there is a GPO that has been configured for RDP. If that is the case then perhaps the TCP/IP settings are off somehow on that laptop since all other machines on the Domain can connect to it.

Start>Type CMD, type ipconfig /flushdns, hit enter.
type ipconfig /registerdns

See if that works for you.

To nedramsay: It's already set to "Less Secure"

To TechOps07: There is no GPO. Tried flushdns. Did not work.
