Windows Remote Management Service Fails to Start (error 1079)

When I try to start the WinRm service, I receive the following error:

"Windows could not start the Windows Remote Management (WS-Management) service on Local Computer.

Error 1079: The account specified for this service is different from the account specified for other services running in the same process."

The logon account is 'Local Service.' Can anyone tell me what other services run in the same process as WinRm? Or if the logon account is incorrect? Every article I've been able to find about 1079 is related to an incorrect logon account, but as far as I can tell, Local Service is correct.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

WinRm does run as Network Service.

Yes. Switching it to Network Service did the trick.

That's kinda why I tried to delete it. Didn't think it was a complex enough problem to be of any real consequence. But I guess it's possible someone else will have the same issue.

I am working from a HP G71-34ous notebook, have a VPS that i am unable to connect to.

Getting this message when I try to connect to my VPS:

your computer can't connect to the remote computer because the Remote desktop Gateway is Temporarily unavailable.
Try reconnecting later or contact your network administrator for assistance.
