Visual Studio 2010

Hello,
I have learned Eclipse because it is a free tool which I can use at home.  Is there a way of getting VS 2010 to learn more on how to use it.  I already tried the free trial run of VS 2012?

There is an Express edition of VS 2010 as well.

kaufmed, that expired as well.  I have them all loaded.  I guess I will have to breakdown and purchase an old version.  I not only need it to get started, but to develop my source.  Where I am working at now does not allow vpn.  And I was counting on that.

The Express editions should not expire. There are trials of the "premium" editions. Those would expire, but you should be able to use the Express edition indefinitely. I have had VS2012 installed for over a year now.

Make sure that you note (from the link provided):

You must register to obtain a free product key for ongoing use after 30 days.

You basically just need an MSN email address (e.g. Hotmail). They'll send you a key to your email; enter it, and it will be registered, and you can continue using the software after 30 days.

Interesting, thanks.  I wonder how I missed that.  You just made my day.  Points coming.
