Unable to Send Emails With Dual Email Accounts

Hello Experts,

I have Microsoft Exchange configured on my outlook home PC so as to as work emails. I also have my personal email account configured. However, I can only receive my personal emails but not send personal emails.

I can understand that I won't be able to received work emails while I'm not connected to our work VPN, however I don't understand why I can't send emails through my personal account when I'm not on my works VPN.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I'm running Office 2007

Cheers

This is typical with Outlook 2007 and earlier

In these versions, any time you have and exchange account setup in OUtlook along with an POP3 account, the exchange account is ALWAYS Automatically defautled as the default account.

ONly way arounf this in Outlook 2007 and earlier is to create two seperate Profiles

1 for the Exchange Account and 1 for the POP3 Account

Alternativley, Outlook 2010 provides much more functionality with Dual Account types in Outlook alowing both Exchange and POP3 Accounts to work individualy
