Adobe Reader Issue Keeps Closing

Hi all I have the latest version of Adobe on a windows 7 machine, however whenever I open a pdf or try to open Adobe reader it closes instantly

Uninstall Reader, then run the Acrobat/Reader Cleaner tool (http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html) and install Reader again. This will remove all "crud" that may have been left over from previous installations.
