Responsive Web Development/Designing

If any one having any experience in RWD (responsive web development), we are already in the business of designing/developing/hosting and managing sites.

Would like to explore/understand and develop too using this new technique, as said by:

Any help, assistance or guidance will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Simple stuff, how is it different then conventional design/development, e.g., a site developed like this: flyers4u.com ... how we can covert it to become responsive.

There's many comparisons on the web, google it.
RWD is a design method whereby most of the content on your page is not set to a static state, that means removing all static layout widths and changing them to max-width/percentages of the width e.g. your content area might be set to a width of 80% with your sidebar having a static width of 200px to maintain the look of boxes.
Float all the elements of the page so as the browser gets smaller then these elements float down
Where the browser is not large enough to contain the whole page then you remove non essential elements
All this is done with media queries.

As for the referenced site - it would probably need a bit of a redesign as it does not lend itself to being adapted as it is to be a responsive site, mainly because of the header.

thanks GaryC123, but is it possible to direct to some thing like process of step by step, in order to educate/update, our designers/developer.

One question, is this related to designers or developer, who is responsible to correct/update/fix this ... and make is responsive.

Thanks for your help, highly appreciate, if can provide/direct to something step by step or process or complete architecture details ... kind of stuff.

It's related to both - the designer has to make his design to look good and small and large screens.
The developer has to decide how the content should flow.
