Correct method to point PDC to pool.ntp.org for time
We are running all 2k3 r2 domain controllers and are looking at pointing our PDC to pool.ntp.org for its time settings.
Currently our PDC is pointed to time.windows.com and our telephone and a few other systems are pointed at pool.ntp.org
We would like to standardize the time across the company by pointing our PDC to the Pool address.
I believe the command below should do what is needed but I just wanted to double check with other experts who may have done this as well.
w32tm /config /syncfromflags:manual /manualpeerlist:0.pool.ntp .org,1.poo l.ntp.org, 2.pool.ntp .org,3.poo l.ntp.org /reliable:yes /update
Thanks
