Is there a way to sort search results in Windows 8?  I know I could use the Search option in File manager but even on my fast new machine it takes forever.  Windows 8 seems to indicate it is indexed.

How do you get good search results, fast, sorted the way you want in Windows 8.

set your view to detailed then click on the column you want it  sorted by i.e. date / author / name  / size then execute the search.  Or do the search and then change the sort parameters.
