IBM Server Attached Storage Questions

Greetings Experts! First, let me say that I am not a storage guy so this could be painfully obvious so forgive me if I seem lost.

I have an IBM x3500 mk2 server. I have an IBM 174724X storage enclosure. I have a IBM M5025 ServeRAID controller card.

I have put the controller card in the server. Windows Server 2008R2 recognizes it. I assume I have to install some low-level drivers for the storage enclosure but it didn't come with any and I can't find them on IBM's site. I went ahead and plugged the enclosure into the server but the enclosure nor the server did anything in response. The enclosure is loaded with 9 600GB drives.

Again, this might seem stupid, but can someone give me the lowdown on what I need to do to get the server to see the enclosure and the storage within?

Thanks for any help you can offer!

Drivers are not needed for the enclosure any more than they are needed for an internal disk cage, you just have to run MegaRAID Storage Manager to setup some RAID arrays. The driver for the RAID controller is needed but it's probably installed already.

MegaRAID Storage Manager is what I was missing. Perfect!
