Hi,

I have a WAP54G.  I can set my PC with IP 192.168.1.1, and connect to the WAP54G to access the admin page.

When I go back to auto IP for the PC, and connect the WAP54G to my ISP modem, I get access to the Internet, but cannot access the WAP54G admin page.

Thanks

With your computer connected to the modem, put the modem into bridge mode.  In this mode the modem will be simply a bridge between the ISP and the WAP54G.  Once successfully in bridge mode your WAP54G will get a routable address therefore the WAN interfacte will not be 192.168.1.X or whatever internal scheme that the modem provided by default.

Then connect the WAP54G WAN to the modem and the computer to the LAN.  You may need to run ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew on the computer to allow the computer to get a DHCP address (auto) from the WAR54G.
