CUCM BE 9.0 Conference Ad Hoc and Meet me gives fast busy tone!

Hi Expert!
I'm running CUCM 9.0. I have Software CFB build-in which are added to MRG->MRGL-Device pool and Phones. but I can't use conference feature, the symptom is that the phone said "Conference" but return Fast Busy. Same as Meet Me. All of my phones are registering to same CCM server.

Update: the RTMT tells that The Resource is unavailable.

Can you help me to solve the problem?
Thanks

Ok, you do have 2 different regions: HLMVMCMRG and Default. Could you please check by going into each of the ip phones and make sure their device pools are not different from the device pool associated to the Conf Bridge?

See under Media Resources > Conference Bridge and check the devices in the list, they should also have a device pool.

The other thing you can do to try fixing this asap, is to go to the REgion page as captured in the  screen shot. See down below where it says modify relationship to other Regions? Click on the Default region, then while this option is highlighted, to the right select G722/G711 from the Maximum AUdio BItrate combo box. then save and let me know.

Sounds like the codec between the IP Phone and the Conference Bridge device itself is set to G.729, which is not supported by the latter. Try setting it to G.711 by adjusting the System > Region.

Dear  willlywilburwonka
Thank you for your reply
My Current Region is Low loss Codec List with Maximum Audio Rate is 64 kbps (G.722, G.711). There is no way for me to set G.711 only. But I think this is correct codec for conference bridge software. I have restarted the system and the problem is still there.

Thanks

Could you please take a screenshot of your regions page? How many of them do you have?

Better yet, are the Conference Bridge and the conferenced ip phones associated to a device pool with the same region? or do they have (either of the 4) different regions?

José MéndezCommented:
You should have at least 3 ip phones in play, plus the conference bridge, each one has a device pool associated.

Hi  willlywilburwonka
Yes I got 03 IPP with CFB, all of them are associated with the same Device Pool and this device pool is associated with Region I mentioned before. Let's say I just need an internal conference but I can't so no PSTN or outside ...

Thanks

Thank you, could you please attach a screen shot of the phones involved in the conference? Just list them in the Phone list, no need to see their specific configuration. By the way, is Extension Mobility set up on those?

For your request, please see the attachment
Please don't worry about the first phone which is "unregistered". It's because an IT guy need it for testing and it will be back around an hour.

Thanks

Hi Expert!
No need to worry about this anymore, because I've made it works. I've separated two CFB to into two different MRG and MRGL. Then everything is OK. Normally this solution is applied for same problem between Hardware and Software CFB, I didn't know It cans be applied for two software CFBs.

Thanks a lot for your support
