Hi,

I have windows 7 and windows 8 desktop pcs.  When i run LiteTouch.wsf on windows 8, the bootstrap settings box appears but it does not show the next buttons nor does it display the progress bar.  I have hit enter for it to go onto the custom ini screen and then hit enter until i can see my task sequences.

when i choose the task sequence, nothing happens.  this only happens on Windows 8 machines.

Any ideas?

are you using the windows 8 ADK ? You should be using it for windows 8/Server 2012 installations also make sure that you are using mdt 2012 update 1.  You also have to unlock the boot (turn off secure boot in the bios)

thanks for your post.

i was able to get the result i wanted by

opening cmd as administrator
mapping the deploymentshare
executing the litetouch.wsf from the command

User account control was off, so i don't really understand why it just didn't run like on win 7

were you trying to do a capture?
If so then the procedure that you used is the 'correct' procedure (this is correct for all operating systems)
