I have the following permissions: farm admin, site collection admin, member of the Full Control group for the site.

I tried to edit a home page on a publishing site (adding a content web part with some HTML). Once done I don't have an option to save or publish the page - it is grayed out. What am i missing here?

It isn't checked out by you, or is checked out by another person?

I believe the problem is related to IE9 and Content Edit web part. They seem to not like each other.
