I am looking for ideas and solutions to do this as cheaply as possible but yet functional. I need to setup a video on demand and streaming video. I have about 12 touch screen monitors and 10 flat panel displays. Users need to be able to select the video they want to watch and watch it on the touch screen. The flat panels will have a pre-determined video playing on a loop.
I would like to have 1 central spot where these all connect to a server that provides these services. Does anyone know of a way to do this without having additional hardware connected to the touch screens? I am trying to get away from having to have a fat/thin client on the touch screen. I would rather have a big usb hub, board or whatever attached to the server if I need to but I am not sure how or if something like that would work.
