We have a user that is using sharepoint via mapped drive and when he tries to copy over a folder with multiple files in it or tries to overwrite a folder, he receives the following error: An unexpected error is keeping you from copying the folder.... Error 0x80070091: The directory is not empty. Screenshot attached. My friend google and I have not found any definitive answer to this.

The folder contains the following items in it: JPG, PNG, PDF, PPTX, PPTA, XLSX, WAV, MP3, QUIZ, HTML, XSD, SWF, JS, XML.

None of these files show up in the block list of files for sharepoint. the folder does contain over 100 files.

Again, the person is accessing sharepoint via mapped drive and not the Web UI.

Version of Sharepoint is Sharepoint services for Windows (W2k8R2)
Desktop OS is Win 7(32bit)

This is a known error with MS--there is a hotfix for it http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2732597.

One thing we discovered was there were .tmp and other hidden files with tilde(s) in them that were preventing files from being copied over.

Thanks for the hotfix link. We will install it and go from there. I will accept that as a solution.
