Cannot delete calendar items on shared calendar Microsoft Hosted Exchange
Hi,
My company uses Microsoft Hosted Exchange (aka office 365). We use several shared calendars to coordinate our ever-changing schedules. Up until a month ago there were no issues.
Our problem is that we are having trouble deleteting items using Outlook 2010 desktop application. A user with editor access (so read, write) will delete an appointment and it will come right back during the next sync. The owner of the calendar does not have problems deleting events ever, Just users with shared access. I have even tried giving a shared user 'owner' access and it still does not resovle the issue.
Steps I have already taken:
1. redo permissions (remove and put back) , no change
2. tried different computers
3. removed outlook profile from computer and repopulated
I turned on debugging and found the following errors but after searching I cannot find how to trouble-shoot them: please see attachment image

Okay, we are syning these calendars to Idevices(iphones, ipads) as well.
What is the next step to resolving the issue ?

Next step is to eliminate/verify the i-devices as the cause of the problem
Disable the sync on the devices
Then Test

I have removed the account from the Idevice and I'm still having the same problem.

SO disbaled the SYnc on the Mobile Devices
Deleted the Appointment formt he calendar in outlook
and have resynced and the appointment has come back?
Chekc the account settings
Under exchange server name
Look to See if Cached Exchange mode is on
If it is, turn it off
Check the appointment in outlook
Is it still there?
If it is delte again and resync

I have disabled "Exchange ActiveSync"
I have uncheck "cached" mode

I have confirmed this with Microsoft.
Often the Appointment can re-appear from the OST, and not so much from Exchange
This can also happen if the mailbox is also sycned with a mobile device such as an Iphone/Ipad ect ect
Often the appointments may still be on these devices, and if not removed from the device, a resync could reporoduce them in the calendar
