Issue:
With a required custon field checked, SPS 2010 gets stuck in starting.
resolution:
Uncheck the required field, workflow completes without a hitch.

Changes to Server:
Applied updates for the April 2013 accumulative updates

Checked the following:
The workflow is not saved or trying to run under the system account.
The workflow is set to automatically start when a new item is created.
The workflow has been reduced to a basic copy file to another workspace for testing purposes.

Any ideas I can look for

So apparantly, it is the end of June and the last link states
"The KB articles for June CU will be availabe at the following locations in a couple of days:"

I re-ran the configuration wizard with same results. I guess I have to wait until Microsoft figures out that June is almost over before I can get the June Update.
The first link states to open a case with Microsoft, and the second, I am not about to use a windows task to start a workflow...

Thanks

Hi BKennedy,

the CU for June has been re-released now, and also Service Pack 2 for SP2010.

See:

Please keep in mind that you have to install SP2 first.

Some Feedback, if workflows are running again would be nice.

Regards

Ralph
