I am trying to validate and asp page with W3C
I have this:
The script:
<% dim Name
dim email
dim comment
%>

<% Name = request("name")
email = request("email")
comment = request("comment")
%>
I get these errors:
Bad character % after <. Probable cause: Unescaped <. Try escaping it as <.

<% dim Name
and this

Error Line 36, Column 2: Bad character % after <. Probable cause: Unescaped <. Try escaping it as <.

What is wrong ?

When you are trying to validate the page, you have to validate the rendered html, not your asp/vb server side code.

Either upload your page to your server and enter the url of the page, or view source and copy then paste to the 3rd tab where you can paste your rendered html.
