Hi,

I have never used Exchange Server cloud before so in this case I wonder what could be the contingency if somehow the Exchange Online cloud service is unavailable due to some reason unknown ?

What is the best contingency that I need to put to avoid a single point of failure when the online cloud exchange is unavailable ?

I'm planning to use Exchange Online 2010 or 2013 because at the moment my internal Exchange Server is just 2007

Redundancy is provided as part of Exchange Online. If you still want to have Exchange in your office then you may consider a hybrid deployment.
