edgewater 2402 PoE LF pass recovery

Hello Everyone,

We just purchased edgewater 2402 PoE LF used switch and connected console cable into it. Unfortunately default username and pass dont work (admin/admin).

Can anyone please let us know how to do password recovery, or factory reset of the switch.

That kinda looks like an old SMC firmware...
Try pressing CTRL-F on a console connection when booting up the switch. That should take you to the rescue screen. From there, you can delete the configuration.

You could try user/user for restricted access...
That switch very much looks like a SMC 6726AL2, where the official password reset procedure is "return to manufacturer"...

Thanks everyone but i found manual on the manufacturer website. we are good now.

we were able to just go on the manufacturer website -> support and search for "factory default password"
