VDI in a box - Memory card

Ok, so I'm kind of new to VDI-in-a-box but it seems pretty straight forward. So far, I like the product.

However, I am having an issue with USB memory cards. It doesn't matter if it is in the camera or in a card reader.

***Setup:
This is a VDI-in-a-box enviorment, latest release, running on Xenserver
Client machines are Wyse an HP thin clients
Desktops (Golden image) is Windows 7 64 bit

***Issue:
When I connect the camera or card reader (both usb) to the thin client, it finds and install the device. If, for the card reader, I look under management, drives, I see drives allocated. Nothing shows up under my computer.

for the camera, it finds and installs : USB Mass Storage Device - Ready to use; Sony DSC USB Device - Ready to use; Disk Drive - Failed; Disk drive (there were two entries) Failed

For the Card Reader - It finds and installs with no issue. But when I put the memory card in it, noting happens. It is almost like the memory card isn't there.

*** Couple notes

I am doing all this with full admin rights
I have tried multiple machines
The memory card, camera, and card reader all work on a PC
Other USB devices: Printers, Scanners, etc work on both thin clients

Thank you in advance.

Have you tried a different type of USB (different manufacturer)? - Citrix across all platforms can be notoriously tricksy with USB devices.

The OP doesn't use XenApp - it's VDI in a box...a XenDesktop type product.

So best I can figure it is the VPN Link. Not the VPN but the speed of the Link. If we take the card reader and memory card to the host site, all works. If we use the card reader at the remote site, it takes forever, if it connects at all.

Unless someone know differently, this is the only thing I have been able to come up with

After further testing, it ended up being the link between the two sites. Once upgraded link was installed, it worked much better.
