Excel Spread Sheet Adjustments

Attached are two spread sheets. The one titled "nhk forcast original" needs to look like the one titled "nhk forcast final." When we receive the data in the original sheet, column I is not given. It is the product of the quantity times the price in each given row (ex. Column I2 = H2*F2). We need a spread sheet with formulas embedded so that when we paste Columns A-H we will get the information in Column I. Also, we need the information we receive (in Column I) to be moved into separate columns depending on month (showed on the spread sheet titled "nhk forcast final") when we paste the data in. We need a separate column for each of the 12 months.

How about in I2:

=IF(DATEDIF(EOMONTH($E$2,-1)+1,EOMONTH($E2,-1)+1,"m")=COLUMNS($I$1:I$1)-1,$F2*$H2,"")

copied across and down.

Excel is saying the formula contains unrecognized text.  We are using Excel 2003.

IF you are using 2003, turn on Analysis Toolpak in the Tools|Addins menu.  The EOMONTH() function is part of that toolpak.
