Hi,

As I queried in a remarkably similar question from 6 June 2013:

Would it be feasible/practical to copy'n'paste the text from the MS-Word document into a separate worksheet within the MS-Excel workbook so that the comparison can be performed in one application?

BFN,

fp.

OK.

Can you clarify what you mean by "an excel database", please?

:)

How is a replacement word to be determined?

I presume there are actually two columns; one of a list of words, & another adjacent with a list of paths.

Perhaps the provision of a sample file would be useful.
