Hard to know without knowing what you're logging into, what connects to what, and finaly what is the processing you want to show.

Please elaborate, and we'll be happy to assist you.

Use BackGroundworker  to do what you need to accomplish. I suppose that your trying to execute a process after login and wait till it finish to show the status or something similar.

look at here

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.
