IIS 7 basic authentication for FTP site not working
Hi,
We have an FTP server here using IIS 7 and basic authentication. There are several local users set up, one of which has read permissions on a subset of folsers under a subfolder of the FTP site. The thing is, the NTFS permissions gives this user read&execute on those folders, but when users log into the ftp site they get write access.
Also the folders should be set up so that this particular user has access to read at the first subfolder, and write in the subfolders of that subfolder.
Does the ftp authorization rules override the NTFS permissions in any way?

ASKER
NTFS permissions check out ok. Any other ideas related specifically to IIS?
