I am using Storagecraft restore and want to use image manager but need to be clear on restore process. I am taking a full backup once a week on a Friday and incrementals every week day at 18.00. If my server dies on a Wednesday night 22.00 I presume I use my storagecraft CD to boot the machine restore fridays full backup then when the system is fully restored I then add Wednesday incremental?

Nope

for restoration you need to select Wednesday night incremental ... which will link all incremental to base.

Friday full backup + Sat INCR+ Sun INCR+ Mon INCr+ Thu Incr+ wed Incr

it create chain to full backup.. so once you select Wend Incremental it will connect all chain.. and restore data.

please remember if one of the file is missing on the chain then you wont be recover data from broken chain
