Hi
I have a big problem with a CEO. He gets an IE 10 script error 2378, when he wants to print.
The error is:
Line 2378
Char 1
Error Unknown Error
Code 0
URL: res://ieframe.dll/preview.
js
Solutions I already tried:
1) Reset IE 10
2) All solutions in the KB
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308260
3) This is a new Network Printer so I have the latest Driver from:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=5096244&prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=5096243&swLang=8&taskId=135&swEnvOID=4063
Extracted the Drivers and Installed files from „HP LaserJet Pro 400 MFP M425 Printer Series PCL6 Driver Only”.
Two users are affected, so this is not a profile Problem and the new Lenovo computers (with Windows 7) are 3 days old. No Malware. Windows and all Software are Up-To-Date. Can print fine on Firefox or Chrome.
Many Thanks
Is this something recent? If so run a System Restore to a date before the problem started.
If you think IE10 is at fault, can you revert to IE9?
Even brand new printers ship with outdated drivers. On the HP driver page did you see the Firmware update of May 23 2013?
There is little modern info on this. But here is a three year old reference.
