I have been using Notepad++ for a while with the basics but I want to get the most out of it to assist my work. I have several log files from several systems and I want to set special styles, user dialogs (I am not sure what it is called) for those types of log files where Notepad++ can highlight and colorize special keywords that I define.<br />

I thought I managed that with 'User Defined Dialog' but it does not seem to work (and make the necessary markings for the keywords I defined)<br />
<br />
Please guide me on how to reach my goal?<br />
