Cannot connect to new Exchange Server 2010

I have setup and managed 2003 Exchange servers for years. Exchange Server 2010 is new to me, and everything seemed straight forward and easy on install and setup, but is there something extra from 2003 Exchange that needs to be done to connect a client's Outlook to the Exchange server? When trying to connect a client's Outlook to the server I get the following error: "The name cannot be resolved. The name cannot be matched to a name in the address list."

Name Error
I ran "Windows Server Solutions Best Practices Analyzer 1.0 and I am clean. Client computer can see the Exchange server shared folders just fine.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Have you able to access the OWA using the username that you tried to configure on Outlook?
Is the username was hidden from Global Address list? PUse EMC to verify it

I just figured it out. Seems you have to separately add an Exchange Mailbox to an existing user that was created. In 2003 the ability to add a mailbox was in the same wizard as adding a new user. Seems like it's separate in Exchange 2010.
