This issue has everyone baffled at our organization. On a certain subset of Windows 7 x86 machines, if the user tries to adjust the Indexing Options and goes into ADVANCED, when the FILE TYPES tab is clicked the Options Screen just closes. The goal is to add some file type extensions to the Indexing Options but so far cannot do that on these particular machines.
The suspecion is these machines all have multiple versions of Microsoft Visual Studio installed but we cannot figure out how that might be related to changing the indexing options. Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated! Capture.JPG
