Hey, we have Outlook 2010 and Exchange 2010. I have full manage permisssions to a mailbox, and I am able to open up this 'shared' mailbox under my outlook profile. I can see my mailbox, and that shared mailbox, underneath my single outlook profile.
Since my mailbox is the 'default' mailbox in my outlook profile, when i go to create a new message I intend to send from the shared mailbox, the from address is always defaulted to my mailbox and not the shared mailbox. Instead I just have to select the shared mailbox and I can send from it just fine. My Question is, is there any way to default the email address to send from depending on which mailbox I am clicked into? For Example, if I am in my mailbox and I choose a new message, I want it to default to my email address. If I am in the shared mailbox and I choose a new message, I want it to default to the shared email address without having to choose it from the From Field.
I dont think there is, but thought I would ask if there was tip, trick, or function in case anyone new of any.
