understanding VMware Snapshots
When you right click on VM-->Snapshot, there are:
Take snapshot : This will create a delta file to write the changes to.
correct?
Revert to Current Snapshot: this will go to the VM disk state before the first snapshot is taken.
Correct ?
Snapshot Manager: this will open snapshot manage
Consolidate: will this merge all the snapshots created to the base disk ?
============
the easy way I see it to delete the snapshots considering the merge or the Non-merge of the snapshots files with the parent disk is to use GO TO then delete whatever is below " you are here"
any VM Expert to clear up the confusion on SNapshots? I have used the VMware link, but they don't explain it case by case...
Thanks
