Every Website is Saying Certificate Error

Hello Everyone,

I just started in a new place and one of the issues I am facing is that on all computers, when I go to a website, it says that there is a certificate error. This is the output:

IE:
The security certificate presented by this website was not issued by a trusted certificate authority.

Firefox:
secure.anysite.com uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided.
(Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)

It's something that I haven't seen before so I don't even know where to start. According to the techs here, it started almost right after they upgraded Exchange.

Has anyone seen this before?

Thanks!

Yes, We are using Sharepoint. Could you explain more on how this would make any site that I go to give a certificate error? I go to dropbox or gmail or anywhere that it's https and a certificate error pops up.
Ok not related to SharePoint. Check this MS KB
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/931850
Thanks for the response back Amit.

I have already gone through all of the date and time settings that are usually the cause. But all of our computers have the proper date and time.

Hi R-R,

When I install it, it's fine. But it shouldn't even be happening. And it happens on any computer in the building. Do any of you thing that it could be related to some type of appliance?

Thanks Sembee2,

So according to what you are saying, I might need to purchase a certificate for my internal AD domain? I've never had to do this in my past organizations. I will respons back soon with the certificate details.
Maybe. Depends on how you are setup.
If nothing is accessed from outside then you can probably use an internal CA. However if it is available externally then you would need a purchased certificate.

As for what happened at previous orgs, unless you were responsible for setting it up, you may not know how it was done. Previous behaviour is not an indication that it was the correct behaviour or that it will work that way moving fowards.

Simon.
Thanks again Sembee,

Would you be able to point me in the right direction of where to look in my domain for any info to fix this?
