I need to identify the BitLocker status for the D drive on our machines to determine those that have Automatic unlock enabled and those that are disabled.<br />

The command to determine the status is (see screenshot attached)<br />

manage-bde -status d:<br />
<br />
and the returning value is either<br />
Automatic unlock: Enabled<br />
or<br />
Automatic unlock: Disabled<br />
<br />
I want to create a share that the machines will record their status to by placing a file with their Netbios name in them.<br />
<br />
eg. \\server\share\Enabled<br />
or<br />
\\server\share\disabled<br />
<br />
I run this as a startup script and then be able to find out which have the undesired configuration.<br />

Windows PowerShell is a task automation and configuration management framework from Microsoft, consisting of a command-line shell and associated scripting language built on the .NET Framework. PowerShell provides full access to the Component Object Model (COM) and Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI), enabling administrators to perform administrative tasks on both local and remote Windows systems as well as WS-Management and Common Information Model (CIM) enabling management of remote Linux systems and network devices.
