Access Rule

I have an Sonicwall tz200 and have configures the X0 port for our Admin Lan, the X1 port is the Wan and the X2 port is Guest. X0 is configured for 172.16.1.xxx port X2 is configured 10.10.10.xxx and gives DHCP addressing from 10.10.10.2 - 10.10.10.254. I have wireless access points connected to the X2 port and have assigned them Ip addresses in the 172.16.1.xxx range.

I need to be able to access the Access points configuration from a computer on the X0 interface. IE from 172.16.1.2 on port X0 to 172.16.1.80 on port X2.

I have tried creating and access rule but I am unable to connect.

Any ideas?

.. Sorry, was a mistaken comment
Are these Sonicpoints?

First I would ping any of the access points from the Sonicwall (using diagnostics) to be sure they are accessible on the X2 port.

How you proceed from here depends upon whether they are Sonicpoints or not.

If not, a rule to permit all traffic from X0 to X2, and the reverse from X2 to X0. You could tighten this by putting the given ip addresses in a Group, and restricting this access to that Group as opposed to ALL.

They are not sonic points. They are Cisco 1240 A/G access points.
Did you try pinging the access points from the Sonicwall diagnostics?
