I have a new, frozen, Windows 7 machine with 16G RAM and an I7. This machine was built for the soul purpose of being a streaming media server.
The strange part is that even though the default stream has been running like 30-50% CPU lately, it's manageable unless something is going on in front of the camera in which time it pegs the processor so bad that the whole machine freezez.
I think this problem started after playing with the W7 recording devices and Virtual Audio Cable to try and mix the sound board with the Yeti Mic.
I had also tried an advanced W7 sound mixer but since uninstalled.
Although I have not uninstalled Virtual Audio Cable , I have gone back to just the Yeti Mic and I'm still experiencing the problem.
Is there a program out there that will actually repair Windows system errors (like default sound and recording) that's not actually malware?
