Exchange 2010 Server recovery keeps failing

We had four Exchange 2010 servers, two running CAS and H/T roles, and two running  the Mailbox Roles in a DAG.  One of the Mailbox Role servers recently failed, and I have tried to do a recovery but it keeps on failing.

        " was run: "Service '' isn't installed on this server.".

The Exchange Server setup operation didn't complete. More details can be found
in ExchangeSetup.log located in the <SystemDrive>:\ExchangeSetupLogs folder.

Exchange Server setup encountered an error.
