HTML Signatures on Mac Books

We've got Exchange 2010 and our Apple user is using Mac Mail.  We created a HTML signature with links to images hosted on our company website.  It works perfect through Outlook on PC's when creating new and replying to messages.  The signature works when you create a message using the Mac.  But it recognizes the logo as an attachment.  We do not want it to appear as an attachment if possible.  When replying to an email using a Mac or iPhone, the logo disappears and is replaced with <image001.png>.  When replying from Outlook, the logo remain intact.

I was finding information to match what you are saying.  But if this is true and it's related to RTF / Plain Text, then why does the initial email sent from Mail work?
The initial email sent from OSX Mail can contain embedded or remotely linked images .. the problem comes when the incoming email is in HTML format and contains a remotely referenced URL to an image file .. when OSX Mail forwards/replies it does not retain the HTML formatting and as a result you see the <image001.png> reference instead of the image itself.

gkotlin .. the URLs I provided cover the most recent versions of OSX .. as you didn't state which version of OSX you were running I provided links for OSX 10.7 lion and the 2nd one for OSX 10.8 mountain lion.

Glad you have a partially working solution in any case.
