CRM 2011 Outlook Addon and Citrix Roaming Profiles
Hi,
We have a Citrix XenDesktop Environment running Office 2007 and we have installed the CRM 2011 Outlook Plugin on the template prior to rolling it out to the VDI Machines.
Once the user configures the plugin they are unable to track multiple emails in CRM directly from the Inbox. Opening and individual email and tracking from there works fine.
Extended troubleshooting has pinpointed that the GPO's on the VDI for Roaming profiles and Redirecting the AppData folder are the main cause.
The profiles are created on a network share but the CRM Plugin doesnt seem to like going there to write to the EmailCache and OutlookSyncCache SDF files.
Once I disable the roaming profiles and redirection it works fine but we need the redirection for saving the NK2 files and Outlook Profile.
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Solution solved the issue we were experiencing.
One way to address this issue is to configure content redirection to apply to only specific URLs, excluding the Microsoft Dynamics CRM server from that list.
For more information, see the article Server-To-Client Content Redirection Explained at: http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX113457.
Hope this helps..
