troubleshooting Question

I am helping a user who has a pst file for outlook which is about 1.5gb.
I ran scanpst on it and scanpst found some errors and fixed them. so I thought maybe I should run scanpst again assuming that it won't find anything. So I run it a second time and it found more errors and fixed them. I started thinking maybe I should run it again, and sure enough it found more errors. This is the 3rd time running scanpst.
Does this sound right?
should I keep running scanpst until it doesn't find any problems? does it usually take several attempts?
