We have a an older server that is Linux based operating system Cent OS
This server is used to hold and operate a legacy program that is needed - nothing will be added to the program or server
Should something happen to this server we would have to pay the company to set it up a large fee since we are no longer using their services
What would be the best way to back this server up?
I know very little about Linux so I need some hand holding (instructions)
Would creating a virtual server be an option?
I could not even find how much data the drives hold- Can someone tell me how this can be done?
How about being able to remote to this server from a Windows PC?
This server is not on the domain just set up in a workgroup
