Hi everyone! Not too sure if this is at all possible - as per the title. But I'm hoping someone will know the answer, any help would be greatly appreciated.
We have a SBS 2003 server and 2 independent ADSL routers. At the moment, both routers are connected into the same network and both NIC cards on the server are configured with the following static IPs:
NIC 1 (primary):
192.168.26.2
255.255.255.0
192.168.26.254
NIC 2 (secondary):
192.168.26.199
255.255.255.0
192.168.26.253
Since the internet line is fairly slow and it gets throttled at times, we'd ideally like to use the primary line for the server/backups and the secondary line for general internet browsing on all the workstations.
If I set the DNS to be the SBS server on both gateways and I set a static IP on all workstations to point to towards the secondary gateway, would emails AND internet work as normal? Didn't want to try this before consulting the pros.
Many thanks guys.
Tom.
