Hello experts,

I need assistance finding instances of files on windows share based on a list provided by grep output from an archive source.

File names contain spaces and commas and I want to llimit the search to the dept directories and it's subdirectories

contents of filelist.txt

/depta/sub1/sub2/test, file.doc
/deptb/sub1/sub2/sub3/sub4/another, test file.doc

For the first line I need to search "P:\depta" and all subdirectories for all instances of "test, file.doc". The data I need on each instance of the file is full path, file size, date modified and date created.

I thought I might be able to use the for command but couldn't quite wrap my head around how to get just the first and last token.

But I know there are tons of experts out there with way better skills that could probably do this in their sleep!

Thanks in advance!
