Samsung Galaxy tab 2 UK Bluetooth External Keyboard mapping Cyanogen 10.1
Hello
I have recently purchased some Samsung galaxy Tab 2 10.1 16GB Wi-Fi tablets. I have upgraded to the android mod CyanogenMod 10.1. I have an external keyboard which is UK english (£ sign above 4 " above 2 etc)
When typing on the external keyboard, it does not map the keys properly. So Shift+2 types @ instead of " and so on.
This is not an issue on the samsung stock rom, the keyboard seems to work fine.
What i have tried:
Renaming the incorrectly mapped keys on all different .KCM files
Replacing the generic and QWERTY .KCM files with the ones from the Samsung Stock ROM
Replacing the .KL keylayout files with the ones from the Samsung stock ROM
Installing a button remapper application, and attempting to remap the keys (This only seems to remap actions such as 'play music' and so on)
Installing External keyboard helper application. (Checking UK english on this application does resolve the problem, however the free demo version types DEMO VERSION! after every few words for obvious reasons.)
There is a pro version, which is cheap, however I have many devices to configure so the cost would rise significantly.
Does anyone have any advice as to how I could resolve this problem?
Thanks

i do not own a tablet, or bluetooth keyboard, but I would have thought the setup would have to be in android itself. If that does not work this may be a problem you cannot get around.
BTW the £ is over the 3.
