Sorry, Movie Maker can't start. Make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements before trying to start Movie Maker again, and then try to update the driver for your video card if Movie Maker still doesn't start.
My System requirements for Movie Maker 2012 are up-to-date according to this website:
windows.microsoft.com/en-U S/Windows- Live/movie -maker-sys tem-requir ements-ui
I have:
- Win 7 SP1

- Uverse internet
- Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HD Integrated video card (ver 8.15.10.2291)
-DirectX 11
-DirectX DDI version 10.1
-DirectX Pixel Shader - ?????? I didn't see this on the dxdiag program. I am supposted to have 2.0 or later
I checked the driver for my video card at the HP website and it is up-to-date. Version 8.15.10.2291.
But this website says that my driver won't work. http://answers.microsoft.c om/en-us/w indowslive /forum/mov iemaker-pr ogram/erro r-code-c94 5000e-sorr y-movie-ma ker-cant-s tart/e510d eeb-ec20-4 75c-b821-d db34e751d2 3
Searched Intel's website and the drivers I found would not install.
Event Viewer doesn't list any errors.

I couldn't find a newer driver. HP just lists the original one. I tried looking for a drive at Intel's website. The drivers they listed for the 2nd Generation Intel® Core™ Processors with Intel® HD Graphics 3000/2000, wouldn't install. It said that it wasn't made for my computer.
What graphics did you try to install?
This says it is for your Intel 2nd generation with HD 2000, but the number is WAY higher.
15.28.15.64.3062

I tried the ones on this page that were made for Win 7 64bit. Probably the same page you found yours.
I tried 3 drivers. The 2nd and 5th from the top and the last on the page.

According to the website you posted;
Blocked Drivers
Intel(R) HD Graphics Family
(2nd Generation Core i3, i5, i7 processor)
Less than or equal to 8.15.10.2321
You state that you have 8.15.10.2291, which is LOWER than 8.15.10.2321, which means it does not work.
Have you tried updating your drivers, or even download, uninstall your current video drivers, and install the latest drivers?
