Publishing Word 2013 doc in HTML?
Hello all,
I am using Word 2013 to write out a work history log. Word works perfectly mostly because I can utilize the navigation pane to quickly jump to sections/dates of interest.
My challenge is that I want managers to view this document online (via shared Google drive or our wiki) in HTML format - I am the only one with Word. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a way of publishing a document with a navigation pane.
Is there a trick or two that will help me accomplish my goal? A flat file, without navigation, will not work.
Thank you

You could use bookmarks and links to sections.
As long as you have a link back to the table of contents in each section then it should function OK.
I'm not suggesting Word's TOC but a manually created one.
Eg:
Contents {bookmark here}
--Topic 1 {hyperlink to bookmark}
----Date 1 {hyperlink to bookmark}
Content blah blah blah
Topic 1 {bookmark here} blah blah blah
Date 1 {bookmark here} blah blah blah

Thanks everyone!
Interesting idea PortletPaul. Actually, publishing to PDF, in one step, worked perfectly. Before saving, I just checked off the PDF options like: doc showing markups, and create bookmarks using headings.
Worked brilliantly.
