Help with SSL Cert
Hi all
I had a UCC Cert with multiple SAN's, which expired.
To cut a long story short I accidentally removed a SAN and installed the cert onto Exchange. Since all Exchange related SAN's are still present, its working fine.
I went into GoDaddy CP and re-added the missing SAN, then re-downloaded the file.
I now need to extract the Private key for installation on another appliance.
The way I'm used to doing it is my logging onto my Exchange server, exporting the Cert to PFX and using openssl.
To do this with the new cert I'd have to replace the current cert on the Exchange certificate.
Is there a way to do a direct replacement without having to regenerate a CSR etc, or a way to extract the Private key of the new cert using just the .crt file I have?

just one thought...
Couldn't you make a "dummy site" in IIS which you assign the old certificate to then browse to this site through IE then view certificate and "Copy to File..." option?
Or am I misunderstanding what you're trying to accomplish?
